In this month’s issue of Biz Bash Magazine’s event “trend spotting” we noticed a unique idea that takes a commonplace event prop to a whole new level: A 3D step-and-repeat.
Here at Vibiana, we’ve hosted everything from Emmy night parties and lavish weddings to corporate mixers and birthday parties, all of which have playfully used the step-and-repeat to display their brands, custom monograms, and the like.
We love the wall of vibrant roses used for the Modern Art Museum benefit and the backdrop of limited edition Absolut Vodka bottles for their unveiling event. These step-and-repeats created a lasting impression and provided an innovative form of marketing for the company’s product.
Whether the event is public or private, a white wedding or a product launch party, we’re seeing that the 3D step-and-repeat is one of the hottest trends in events for 2012 .
This is a fun way to make your guests feel like stars and add a little Hollywood flair to your next event at Vibiana!
See below to read more about it and for some great examples from Biz Bash magazine.

California Meetings + Events Magazine recently published several articles all relating to the theme “What’s Old is New.”
Vibiana is featured in the article on Classically Elegant Venues under the Historic Landmark category, described by the magazine as an “utterly fantastical, yet unexpectedly practical venue [that] has hosted events from concerts to masquerade galas.”
Also in the article is a dazzling review from event producer Brian Worley who, together with his planning and production company YourBash!, has produced several notable events at Vibiana.
“It is a stunning setting that really allows me to create unique spaces,” Worley notes. “Vibiana is so large that you can literally transform it into anything you want; and with the white walls, you can do magic with the lighting.”
We are thrilled to have been chosen for the feature, and agree wholeheartedly that in choosing a space for your event, the right venue has the ability to “make memorable occasions even more special.”

Last Fall, celebrity planner and artistic visionary, David Tutera came to us asking to film an exciting episode for his hit show “My Fair Wedding”. His Halloween bride had a vision including plastic pumpkins, spider webs, and skulls, but David transformed the entire evening into a grand Venetian Masquerade Ball full of bold colors and amazing décor.
There were so many carefully chosen details found throughout the evening such as the Italian made masks at each place setting, the gondoliers & performers in costume, and the custom chandeliers by Rrivre Works hung alongside each column. The bold florals and candelabras matched with the exquisite lighting by Amber Event Productions allowed guests to feel as if they were actually celebrating in the middle of St. Mark’s Square in Venice and the bride and groom could not have been more thrilled with the end result.
